The Unknown Must Be God

Despite the vast “scientific evidence” that supports evolution and natural selection, there are those who have fearlessly co-opted science to defend the idea that God is the creator–even though they surrendered that particular terminology if favor of calling it “intelligent design” (wink-wink).

I just love reading the work of these brave Christian soldiers scientists.  One such lantern of knowledge is Dr. Stephen Myer, who was recently interviewed by Focus on the Family’s CitizenLink group:

This discovery has made acute a longstanding scientific mystery that Darwin never addressed or solved: the mystery of how the very first life on Earth arose. To date no theory of undirected chemical evolution has explained the origin of the digital information in DNA needed to build the first living cell on Earth.

You see, scientists can’t explain everything, therefore they can explain nothing!  That is as simple and as perfect as a cirlce.

Dr. Meyer however doesn’t stop there, he goes on to expand his arguement against Darwinism even further (even though he didn’t need to):

Yet, modern scientists who argue for intelligent design do not do so merely because natural processes have failed to explain the origin of the information in cells. Instead, they argue for design, because systems possessing these features invariably arise from intelligent causes.

DNA functions like a software program. We know from experience that software comes from programmers. Information — whether inscribed in hieroglyphics, written in a book or encoded in a radio signal — always arises from an intelligent source. So the discovery of digital code in DNA provides a strong scientific reason for concluding that the information in DNA also had an intelligent source.

Once again the circle of the Lord’s insight is complete!  If intelligent programers (at say the Gay-coddling Microsoft) write software, and then scientists compare how DNA functions to how software functions; it follows that some intelligent entity (hint: a Christian God) must have created our DNA.   I would like to see those fancy atheist scientists argue against that theory.

God bless unevolved Christians like Dr. Meyer, who spend their days looking for arguments to support our religious beliefs, rather than searching for verifiable evidence of how nature functions.
