Snatching Defeat Out of Victory

One the reasons that I have my kids thank God for Gary Randall every night in their prayers is that he has absolutely no qualms about turning the “logic” of the secularists on its head.  So called “facts” may be stubborn things to those with less than complete faith in Jesus Christ and the Bible; but not to those who like Mr. Randall aren’t afraid to put aside who, what, when, where, and why in favor the ability t0 alarm and engage God’s soldiers in the culture war.

A perfect example is his post for the Faith and Freedom Network about the case of a pastor who was silenced by the socialistic Canadian government:

In 2002, Pastor Stephen Boissoin sent a letter to his local newspaper, criticizing the pro-homosexual rights curriculum in the education system.

His letter carried the heading, “Homosexual Agenda Wicked,” and said in part, “From kindergarten class on, our children, your grandchildren, are being strategically targeted, psychologically abused and brainwashed by homosexual and pro-homosexual educators.”

A human rights activist filed a complaint against the pastor, supporting his case with the fact that a homosexual had been beaten two weeks after the letter had been published. The activist contended that the beating was evidence that the pastor’s speech could incite violence, therefore it was a “hate crime.”

Pefect, except for the fact that a Judge overruled the Canadian Human Rights Commission, and according to the story that Gary sites:

“The decision of Justice Earl Wilson of the Court of Queen’s Bench in Boissoin v. Lund will have a significant long term positive impact on religious freedom in Canada,” wrote Gerald Chipeur , Boissoin’s attorney, in a summary analysis of the judgment, according to LifeSiteNews.com.

Well I’m glad that the fact that Christians won the case in Canada doesn’t distract Gary from telling us that it puts us in danger of losing our freedom of anti-gay speech here in America.

And the plaintiff who filed the case against the pastor also can’t seem to understand the fact that since his fellow secular-sodomites lost it means that they actually won:

But plaintiff Darren Lund responded to the ruling saying, “I really think this is a step backwards for our province,” in an e-mail to The Canadian Press.

“In my view, the judge’s ruling sets such strict standards for hate speech that this section is rendered all but unenforceable.”

Randall ignores all of this to remind us again that the evil’s of gay indoctrination are at work in Washington State, and that our kids are the target.  He leaves us with a battle cry for all Christian soldiers:

We will continue to stand, God willing, for what we believe is consistent with Judeo-Christian values and against what is not.

YES!!! Because what we believe is true, and should be enforceable both by law and by the social pressures that discriminating Christians know how to wield.
